Support for Cognitive Difficulties & Neurological Conditions

Living with cognitive changes or a neurological condition can affect many areas of daily life, including memory, attention, emotional wellbeing, independence, and relationships. These challenges may arise following brain injury, stroke, neurological illness, psychiatric conditions, or as part of a progressive cognitive condition. We provide supportive, psychoeducational, and therapeutic input to help individuals and families better understand and manage these changes.

  • Emotional distress related to cognitive decline or brain injury
  • Caregiver strain or uncertainty about how best to provide support
  • Challenges maintaining independence in daily life
  • Reduced confidence or increased anxiety following cognitive changes
  • Need for guidance on coping strategies and functional support

What Does the Support Involve?

Support is tailored to individual needs and may include:

  • Psychoeducation about cognitive and neurological conditions
  • Emotional and adjustment support following diagnosis or injury
  • Cognitive and behavioural strategies to support daily functioning
  • Guidance for families and caregivers on communication and support strategies
  • Practical tools to improve memory, organisation, and independence
